Specifications & Requirements:

  • The video file size should be under 20MB.
  • The recommended minimum bit rate is 2500kbps.
  • The recommended minimum video dimensions are 1280px x 720px 
  • The video creative must be created using one of the following file types:
    • MP4
    • AVI
    • M4V
    • MOV
    • MPG 
  • Please provide a video thumbnail that is 800 pixels in length.
    • This will display on the IPO Video ad prior to the user playing the video.  
  • Please provide the product name or headline for the ad (25 characters max).
  • Please provide the product description (90 characters max).
    • This will display as text on the left side of the ad.  
  • Please provide any logos needed for the ad.
    • For example, in the case of a supplier co-op ad, please provide the manufacturer's logo.  
  • Please provide the click-through URL for the IPO ad.
    • 3rd party click trackers or URLs with campaign tracking (e.g. Google Analytics UTM parameters) are permitted.

Recommendations for Messaging:

  • Technical product videos only.
    • Brand videos do not qualify for IPOV.
  • Shorter videos are recommend for higher completion rates (must be 1 min or less).
  • Video content should be appropriately targeted to the intended audience.
    • For example, a product-focused video would work well for the Engineering audience. A 10% Off promotion might be better suited for the Buyers audience. 
  • Messaging should be clear and concise. 
  • Include a call-to-action if at all possible.
